1.Batista
Ok so you could have seen this from a mile away, but come on. “The Animal” is back.
Unless they have Alberto Del Rio screw over “The Animal” he is almost a guaranteed lock for this spot to become true. With the top of the food chain in WWE in all sorts of mess and a high profiled name returning. It all most makes common sense to have him win.
He is returning for the first time since 2010 where he went out on top and it looks like he will be returning on the top.
Batista is a one-time Royal Rumble winner back in 2005 where he went on to defeat Triple H at WrestleMania 21. He is a six time WWE champion and I believe he will become a seven time champion at this year’s WrestleMania in New Orleans.
Whoever is WWE World Heavyweight champion at WrestleMania 30, they have no chance with Batista being their opponent. I believe Batista comes back as a baby-face and is that top guy once more.
I think he comes out at number thirty and destroys everyone. Let the “The Animal” do what he does best, destroys everyone in his path.
If you want him to face Alberto Del Rio, then have him do it at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view. I plead with the rest of the “WWE Universe” do not have Alberto Del Rio win it and then at the Elimination Chamber PPV have a stipulation like this: The winner of this match goes on to face WWE World Heavyweight champion at WrestleMania 30. I will tell you right now, everyone will crap all over it, including me.
Just be predictable and have the returning Batista win it.
Thanks for everyone following along, I know we all have different opinions, but hey it’s wrestling. Thanks for all the support and keep it locked on EWrestlingnews.com for more editorials about the Royal Rumble and other cool stuff.
-Before the announcement of Batista, i had these man at the number one spot:
Roman Reigns
Roman Reigns is the top prospect for WWE right now, even though the chance of him winning it all is a bit far to say, he has to be one of the top contenders to win it all.
Roman Reigns has only been in the WWE for a year and a couple months leading into this pay-per-view, alongside his Shield team mates (Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose) has been having great matches and been pushed/ booked in the best way since their debut. Now WWE has this great idea that no one can stay as a stable or a team for that long so it amazes me that they have kept them together this long.
Reigns has the look that WWE is always trying to find that diamond in the rough and has nailed it on its head. Reigns is a dominate guy who destroys everyone in his path. Once he breaks out from the Shield, if he does not stay true to his nature then he will not meet his full potential.
Reigns has been rumored and it has been speculated that he will have a bigger 2014 than his 2013 as he will break out onto his own. Reigns could have several options here and here is what I think WWE will go with. One he could win the rumble and go on to face the WWE World Heavyweight champion and the rest of the members get jealous then breaks the friction. Second he could lose the rumble match as a result of one of the Shield Members (Most likely Dean Ambrose) and that sets up the Shield break up.
There is a ton of ways they could go but no doubt about it, Roman Reigns is a top pick for the 2014 Royal Rumble winner.
