October 19, 2006 - For six consecutive years IGN and THQ have teamed up to bring our readers an ongoing exclusive look at the superstars of the WWE, and this season is no exception. Famous the world over, our "SmackDown Countdown" chronicles each wrestler, diva, and legend that will appear in WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2007, and comes complete with never-before-seen screenshots and direct-feed movies of every last one of them. Every day for the next nine weeks, we'll profile more than 60 different personalities (including two each on Mondays and Fridays as a special homage to Raw and SmackDown fans), and for the first time ever, will cover two different platforms with images and video from both the PlayStation 2 and Xbox 360 versions. Hot stuff? You bet.
But enough with the formalities it's time to throw down with today's Countdown superstar, Torrie Wilson!

Amidst the potatoes, corn and wheat typically grown on the sprawling and spacious farms of Boise, Idaho, one of wrestling's most enticing Divas emerged. Torrie Wilson, a Boise native, has been one of WWE's hottest Divas ever since debuting in 2001. Torrie got her start in WCW, but when Mr. McMahon purchased WCW, she quickly made the transition to WWE. No matter where Torrie Wilson is, though, she's always turning heads. In fact, her beauty is so great, that it can easily make other WWE Divas jealous.
Wilson, who was crowned Miss Galaxy in 1998, was a nutrition major at Boise State University, where she learned how to parlay a proper diet and physical fitness into a healthy lifestyle. Torrie broke into the sports-entertainment business with WCW in 1999. She briefly served as a valet for Ric Flair's son David, even helping him win the United States Championship. She was also the valet for The Filthy Animals when they defeated Harlem Heat for the WCW Tag Team Championship.
Torrie may not be a Women's Champion, but she does hold one major distinction. She participated in the most-purchased match on WWE 24/7 Online -- a Bikini Contest vs. Sable at Judgment Day 2003. Not only were Torrie and Sable decked out in two of the hottest bikinis ever seen, but they also sealed the match with a kiss that has to be seen to be believed.
