Spike TV is banking on the controversial element of Rhino's promo on tonight's TNA iMPACT! taping to propel the show to a strong rating. Its media team issued a brief media alert to wrestling and entertainment reporters:
"A sneak peek clip from this week's TNA: iMPACT! is now available at tna.spiketv.com. Click on the heading "This Week" to view a sampling of Rhino's Rant about ECW and Vince McMahon. The entire segment, along with the show can be seen tomorrow night - Thursday, July 13 (11:00 PM - Midnight, ET/PT) on Spike TV," the release said.
Although Spike TV is quite satisfied with TNA's performance, reports from several weeks ago suggest the network views the ECW ratings as proof that the iMPACT! numbers can improve.
