There is a lot of internal pressure regarding Saturday Night's Main Event. NBC officials recently had some meetings with The McMahon's, and they expressed concern that WWE wasn't pushing the event hard enough on both RAW and ECW shows. Also note, WWE can't promote the event on Smackdown it is on a rival network.
There is one week to go, and WWE are coming off a show in March that was a major disappointment. SNME really needs to achieve a good rating with this week's show or else there may not be anymore WWE specials on NBC in the future.
