Edge recently suffered a partial pec tear and is currently out of action. The impression many have been given at this point is that the injury will require surgery. No estimate of how long he is expected to be out for has been determined. It is believed he will tough it out at the Taboo Tuesday PPV this week where he is scheduled to team with Chris Masters against two SmackDown superstars voted on by the public that includes JBL, Rey Mysterio, Christian, Matt Hardy and Hardcore Holly.
In another injury report, Kane also suffered a quite serious injury to his back following RAW this past Monday night. Although no update has been passed on since Monday, the belief within WWE was that he suffered a broken back after the superplex spot from The Big Show on RAW. He was said to have been in a large amount of pain the rest of the match. We hope to have more regarding his status for Taboo Tuesday very soon.
SmackDown will be moved back starting at 9 p.m. on UPN next Friday in New York, Los Angeles and Orlando.
