Raven’s Pros:
-Money promo -Instant heat magnet in the ring -Great at the bad guy role.
Cons:
-Can’t portray the babyface role -Not the most versatile worker when dealing with big men
Final prognosis: What can be said that hasn’t already been said in the past? The man is the crown jewel of the program and I doubt that’ll change even when he eventually does lose the World Title.
Seth Iser’s Pros: -Overall versatility -Can play face or heel as needed -Ring General
Cons: -Injury prone -Style isn’t spectacular against cruiserweights.
Final prognosis: The most evolved character in XWA. He’ll continue to change and evolve with the times while still being high on the card.
Chase’s Pros:
-Ring General -Good at being menacing -Overall versatility
Cons:
-Not a babyface -Can disappear at times
Overall Prognosis: When he doesn’t vanish, he’s a phenominal in-ring talent with a unique character. Sky’s the limit when he is there.
Kane’s pros:
-Phenominal talker when he does talk. -Veteran -Very safe
Cons:
-Aging -Somewhat limited thanks to his size
Prognosis: Kane’ll always have a high end roster spot because of his veteran presence and ability to work a crowd.
Shelton Benjamin’s pros:
-Crazy athletic -Very good bell to bell -No glass ceiling on how good he can be.
Cons:
-Not great in garbage style matches -Not spectacular on the mic -Sometimes doesn’t give 100% effort.
Prognosis: Shelton Benjamin’s a rare breed. When he’s on, there’s almost nobody better but he isn’t on all the time.
Christian’s pros:
-Ring General -Good promo -Teacher/Mentor figure
Cons: -Starting to lose a step physically -Can float
Prognosis: Christian won’t ever be a main eventer again, but he’ll always have a place in any promotion thanks to his ability to talk and ability to mesh with anyone. Plus he mentored that Raven guy…I wonder how he turned out…
CM Punk’s pros:
-Jack of all trades in the ring -Great promo -Heel or Face versatility
Cons:
-WWE Stigma -Can have an attitude
Prognosis: If CM Punk can keep things in check…he’ll continue to be a special talent.
AJ Styles: See Shelton Benjamin
Miz’s pros:
-Great promo -Unique look -Workhorse
Cons:
-Lack of versatility in the ring -Has the issue of other people doing his character style better -Slight attitude issue
Prognosis: If Miz can tighten things up in the ring, he’ll break through and be a main eventer. He has everything else.
Homicide’s pros:
-Strong promo -Unique character
Cons:
-One dimensional in the ring meaning he’s hit and miss. -Not going to improve much at this point.
Prognosis: Homicide’s planted nice and safe in the midcard. He won’t move up or down.
Kofi Kingston’s pros:
-Good babyface -Dynamic moveset -Athletic
Cons:
-Stale -Bad on the mic -Can get lost in the shuffle
Prognosis: Kofi Kingston needs a retooling from a character standpoint. He doesn’t stand out, but in the ring, the future is bright for him.
RVD’s pros:
-Safe -Natural knack for popping the crowd
Cons:
-Too mechanical in the ring -Bad promo -A little too overexposed
Prognosis: Rob might not ever reach the top of the card again, but he still has value in the promotion as a solid, serviceable veteran wrestler.
Drew McIntyre’s pros:
-Potential oozes out of him. -Solid character -Good look
Cons:
-Not a complete product in the ring -Can have an attitude issue. -Said potential could also end up being his downfall
Prognosis: It’s up to Drew whether or not he lives up to his potential. If he does, he’ll be toward the top. If not…he’ll be out of a job.
ADR’s pros:
-Dynamic in-ring style. -Good look.
Cons:
-Not a good promo -Very stale character -Attitude has been called into question many times.
Prognosis: At his age, it’s doubtful to see him rise higher than he already is on the card. If anything, look for him to be one of the droppers as younger talent begins their ascent up the card.
