News on the RAW Homecoming incident
In the hours leading up to WWE RAW Homecoming, Linda McMahon spent her time in a place few likely expected: the ring.
PWTorch.com reports that after repeated rehearsals with Steve Austin that afternoon, McMahon learned how to properly sell the “Stone Cold Stunner.” But, when the show went live, the WWE CEO got nervous and ended up botching the spot.
The McMahon family matriarch has appeared on the past two editions of WWE RAW and, from all indications, is not ready to return to life behind the desk.
“It’s time that I step forward and show the world the kind of business person that I can be,” she told WWE.com. “[Monday night] was only the beginning.”
