After wrestling with the decision all week, UFC’s Mike Goldberg has opted to reject WWE’s offer to replace Jim Ross. For the time being, the former hockey commentator will remain with Ultimate Fighting Championship.
WWE had originally planned to swiftly turn over Jim Ross’ position as RAW’s play-by-play announcer to Goldberg; Ross was to become the lead announcer for WWE.com Unlimited. With Goldberg not presently interested in joining WWE, it remains to be seen how those plans will change.
