From WWE.com:
Kristal – The former 2005 RAW Diva Search contestant reported to Deep South Wrestling (a WWE developmental system) last week. The WWE hopeful admits to getting off to rough start.
“I signed up for the 8:00 a.m. class, and in Mr. Bill Demott’s (Kristal’s trainer) language, that means be there at 7:30, not get there at 8:00,” said Marshall. “I learned that the hard way. On my first day of training, I actually threw up twice.”
Despite the rough start, Kristal plans on persevering.
“Every day I wake up and go to practice and I’m scared,” admitted Kristal. “But after you do it, you feel so accomplished. Never, ever in my life have I done 800 squats consecutively in one day. I try to set small goals for myself every day and try to hit them. If I keep doing that I think I’ll be on my way. It’s hard work, but it’s something I want to do, and I’m not going to stop until I learn what I came here to learn. One day at a time.”
Elisabeth – The second runner-up in the 2005 RAW Diva Search reported to Ohio Valley Wrestling (a WWE developmental system) last week. After only one week of action, her trainer Al Snow has already noticed great enthusiasm.
“She’s very athletic and really wants to do this,” said Snow. “She was hurting after her first day, but she wasn’t daunted by any means and continued to work very hard the two days that we had an opportunity to get in the ring.”
Enthusiasm aside, Snow knows that she’s going to need to do more to be accepted.
“She’s going to have to earn her spot with everybody,” commented the former World Tag Team Champion. “But from what I can tell, she certainly looked like she was handling herself just fine. They didn’t exclude her, but they didn’t go out of their way to talk to her, either.”
Tatanka – WWE is in negotiations with former Native American Superstar Tatanka. More details will become available early next week.
Mike “The Miz” Mizanin – Former Tough Enough contestant Mizanin is currently training in Atlanta’s Deep South Wrestling. Despite his busy training schedule, The Miz is also in negotiations to appear on Fear Factor and a reality show for MTV.
