SmackDown! Stars Breaks Hand, WWE Diva Hospitalized, More
Simon Dean will be working this weekend’s No Mercy PPV with a broken hand. Dean apparently showed up at the SmackDown! taping last Tuesday and claimed he had broken it the week before in a match on Velocity. If you watch the match on WWE.com, it is clear that he was in pain after the match. WWE shot an angle for SmackDown! tonight which explains the injury.
Michelle McCool was hospitalized earlier this week after a bad reaction to medicine. She has been working with Deep South Wrestling as of late and as noted before, Stephanie McMahon told her to work on losing the southern accent.
Bill Behrens is not expected back with WWE. We’re told Bill’s release was the result of being on the wrong end of internal conflicts within the territory. Jody Hamilton owns the territory and Bill DeMott helps out as lead trainer. Behrens, at this point, is under a WWE deal and wouldn’t be free until January 2006, unless he received a release prior to that point. (PWINsider)
