In a very interesting story, PWInsider.com is reporting that Rob Van Dam is backstage at tonight’s RAW. However, RVD had been previously billed as appearing at the “RAW Viewing Party” in Universal Studios Hollywood this evening.
According to WrestlingObserver.com, the plan is for Shawn Michaels vs. Kurt Angle to open up the show. Because Ironman matches have a history of causing fans to tune out, WWE did not want to run the match against MNF or UFC.
