*The bell sounds and the match is underway*
Tazz: Those were some big remarks from Van Dam.
Joey: You don't say, WWE does treat the talented wrestlers like crap.
Raven and RVD circle eachother and lock up. Raven gets the advantage and backs RVD into the corner as the ref asks for a clean break, and gets one.
Joey: Both are getting the feel of things, not looking to rush into anything.
Raven and RVD get loosened up and once again lock up as this time Van Dam backs Raven into the corner as the ref asks him for a clean break. Van Dam backs off but Raven gets in a quick shot to the midsection and rams RVD shoulderfirst into the turnbuckle.
Tazz: Seems that Raven has gotten the early advantage.
With Van Dam in pain, Raven locks in a shoulderlock.
Joey: Seems that Raven is going to pick apart RVD one body part at a time, to weaken him so he can climb the ladder.
Tazz: Smart very smart.
Raven wrenches back on RVD's shoulder as the XWA fans are cheering both Raven and Van Dam on as the WWE Side is booing them both. Van Dam feeds off the fans and manages to get to his feet but Raven yanks him back down by a pull of the hair.
Tazz: Raven, a thinking man's wrestler.
With Van Dam on the mat, Raven slides to the outside and tosses in the ladder and also grabs a trusty cookie sheet and a steel chair.
Joey: Raven looking to take this match to a new level of extreme.
Raven picks up the cookie sheet, and just as RVD gets up he turns right into a shot right to the head.
Tazz: Raven is no stranger when it comes to weapons that's for sure, what a sick shot.
As RVD is down, Raven props the ladder in the corner opposite to RVD.
Joey: What does the champ have in mind?
Tazz: It can't be godo for Van Dam.
Raven picks RVD up and irish whips him back first into the ladder as he crashes violently into the ladder.
Joey: Oh My God what impact!!!!
XWA Fans: HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT!
RVD rolls around in pain as Raven picks up the ladder and slams it directly into RVD's back causing him to scream out in pain.
Joey: Raven is looking to take out RVD's back, if he does so, he takes out a lot of RVD's offense, plus, you can't climb the ladder with a bum back.
Raven slams the ladder into RVD's back once more for good measure as he sets up the ladder in the center of the ring.
Tazz: Raven is looking to claim his title right now, with Van Dam out, what a better time to win than now.
The XWA fans chant for Raven and also chant for RVD to get up.
Joey: Once again the XWA fans showing respect for both men.
Raven has the XWA title in his grasp, but out of no where Van Dam leaps off the turnbuckle and knocks Raven off with a diving kick.
Tazz: How did RVD do that?
XWA Fans: XWA! XWA! XWA!
Joey: That must have taken a lot of out RVD to get enough strength to climb up the turnbuckle and knock off Raven.
Both men are down as the XWA fans will both men to get to their feet. Raven is the first to get to his feet as he nails RVD with a hard right hand (yes it was closed fist, DQ me why don't ya
) RVD responds with a forearm shot as he and Raven battle back and forth. Van Dam puts an end to it with a Crescent Kick right to the head that sends Raven down to the mat.
Tazz: RVD has dangerous feet, you have to be careful.
With Raven down, RVD charges at the ropes and drills Raven with a Rolling Thunder, sending all his weight crashing down on Raven's torso.
Joey: That knocks the air right out of you.
RVD then quickly springs up the turnbuckle and nails a Split-Legged Moonsault.
Joey: What agility by Van Dam.
This time RVD sets up the ladder and places it in the center and begins his asscent to the top.
Tazz: RVD is now going for the title, Raven is in trouble.
RVD is inches away from the belt, but Raven gets up and nails RVD in the back with the steel chair and sends RVD falling off the ladder.
Joey: What impact, Raven is a wrestling genius.
As RVD is holding his back, Raven applies a Camel Clutch to further punish the back of RVD.
Joey: Smart submission, too bad Batista doesn't know how to do any, maybe he could learn a thing or two from watching Raven Wrestle.
Raven turns up the pressure and really pulls back on the hold, as the XWA fans begin to cheer for Van Dam once again. RVD gets to a standing position with Raven on his back as falls backwards, in the process squashing Raven.
Joey: What a smart counter.
As RVD fights off the effects of the camel clutch he picks up the ladder and places it in the corner and climbs to the outside and climbs the ropes.
Tazz: What is he doing?
RVD climbs to the top rope and begins to climb up the ladder.
Joey: You don't think.
As RVD balances on top of the ladder, he does his RVD Thumb Taunt and leaps off the ladder nailing a HUGE Five Star Frog Splash.
Joey: OH MY GOD!!!!! RAVEN MUST BE DEAD!!!!
XWA Fans: HOLY SHIT!!! HOLY SHIT!!!!
Tazz: RVD put his body on the line with that move, both men are down. This is some match, forget the Invasion, just two guys putting it all on the line for the XWA title.
RVD slowly gets to his feet, noticing that Raven is still out from the 5 Star, so he re-positions the ladder in the center of the ring ands begins to climb.
Joey: This is it, RVD is going to do it.
Tazz: He just might, but don't count Raven out just yet.
As RVD is seconds away from getting the title Raven manages to get under the ladder and grabs RVD ans sends him to the mat with a strong Powerbomb.
Tazz: See, told you not to count Raven out.
Joey: He must have been playing possum.
RVD is out like a light, Raven grabs the chair and places it over the face of RVD.
Joey: Now what?
With RVD still down, Raven climbs up the ropes.
Tazz: He is looking to end RVD right now.
As Raven is set to leap off the turnbuckle RVD gets to his feet and Monkey Flips Raven off the top rope sending him spine first onto the chair.
Joey: RVD with a huge counter, Raven looks to be out.
Tazz: What a match.
RVD once again grabs the ladder and begins to climb.
Tazz: Is the 3rd time a charm?
As RVD has his hand on the title, the crowd gets loud.
Joey: What is going on?
Cameras cut to the ramp where we see Riot running down to the ring.
Tazz: Ah, see the Queen is out for a front row seat.
Riot slides into the ring and manages to tip the ladder over sending RVD crashing all the way to the outside.
Joey: OH MY GOD!!!! It looks like Riot did more then just watch the match.
Tazz: You don't say, Van Dam landed hard on the outside.
With RVD out of the ring, Riot sets up the ladder and helps Raven get to his feet.
Tazz: See, I knew Riot would appear sometime.
Shakily Raven begins the climb to the top of the ladder and retrieves his title as the match ends.
Lillian Garcia: Here is your winner and STILL XWA Champion, Raven!!!!!
Winner: Raven (26:54)
The match ends as the XWA fans give both men a well deserved standing ovation, the cameras neglect to show the lame WWE Fans.
Tazz: What a match, hats off to both men.
Joey: I agree partner.
Riot helps Raven off the ladder as he is handed his belt as his music hits. He holds up the title high as the XWA Faithful cheer loudly as the spectacle they have witnessed. Trainers come from the back to help RVD up. As Raven and Riot exit the XWA fans chant "Thank You" to both Raven and Rob Van Dam. RVD is shown getting to his feet and salutes the fans as Raven and Riot make their way to the back.
Joey: What a way to end a huge PPV.
Tazz: You don't say, well until our next broadcast, goodnight folks.
