Tazz: Hello everyone, welcome to XWA. We have been on a small hiatus due to the horrific tragedy of Chris Benoit and his family, but the GM has told us the show must go on.
Joey Styles: You are right Tazz, the GM has made Wrestlemania a tribute show to the late great Chris Benoit. You might have known he was going to get a title shot against Raven at Mania, but that will no longer take place. Raven has said an opponent has be named, and he will find out tonight, just like the rest of us.
Tazz: I wonder who could replace the late great Chris Benoit. I don't think anyone can.
Joey: No one ever will. I have word that Raven will speak about Benoit, and his un-named opponent. Raven can you hear us?
* The titontron shows two figures side by side and it's Bart and Lisa Simpson*
Tazz: What is this?
Raven: Hey camera man, pan up.
*The camera pans up and we see Raven and Riot as the crowd is actually cheering*
Tazz: Raven my man, how you guys doing?
Raven: Well, Tazz,Joey, the last few weeks have been very tough on me, as well as Riot, and the rest of the wrestling world Iwould imagine. I like the rest of you am shocked and in disbelief, we lost the one of the greatest wrestlers to ever step foot in the ring, you just can't get over it that fast. A very big blow to all of wrestling.
Joey: You know Raven, a lot of people call you a jackass and stuff, but when things like this happen, it's important for all of us to unite to get through an event, how do you think that will happen?
Raven: Well Joey you had it right, I know not everyone likes me, I don't liek everyone either, but when an event like this occurs it's important to be there for eachother, it helps the healing process, it's good to be around people who care about you. But enough of me being sappy, in all seriousness, Benoit was slated to face me at Mania for the XWA World Title, with his passing, that is not happening as Mania will be in his owner, I like the rest of you do not know who his replacement is, but am waiting to find out. For all I know it could be anyone in the wrestling world who is alive.
Tazz: Do you have any names who it could be?
Raven: Too many to guess, it could be the Dynamite Kid himself, the guy who influenced Benoit the most. It might be Chavo Guerrero, or William Regal, like I said, it could be anyone.
Joey: Well, hopefully we will find out soon.
*Raven and Riot are talking amongst themselves as someone enters and taps Raven on the shoulder*
Raven: What is it?
*Raven turns around and looks face to face with The man of 1000 Holds, Dean Malenko*
Tazz: Holy crap, it's Dean Malenko!
Joey: One of Benoit's best friends is going to face Raven?!
*Raven turns fully around and stares face to face with Malenko*
Dean Malenko: Hello champ. It seems you are in need of an opponent for Wrestlemania, the show dedicated to my best friend Chris Benoit, I figure since he was going to face you for the title, it is my duty to fill in for him. So how about it Raven, you and me in a Submission only match. I have heard a lot about you, how you are the best wrestler of your generation, and Chris told me how much respect he had for you, and I respect you as well. So, let's go out there and prove to the world how great we are, and pay our respects to Benoit. What do you say champ?
Raven: You know Dean, I have a ton of respect for you as well. Not only would it be a privillage to face you at Mania, it would be my honor. I accept, you and me in a Submission match, for the XWA World Heavyweight title, on the tribute show to Benoit as Wrestlemania.
*Raven holds out his hand as he and Malenko shake hands and seal the match as the live crowd cheers loudly*
Tazz: It's official, it will be Raven vs Dean Malenko in a Submission only match at Wrestlemania for the XWA World Heavyweight Title. What a match.
Joey: You said it, the title might be on the line, but it's all about paying respect to Chris Benoit. Raven, Dean, thank you both for your time.
*Raven and Riot walk away as the titontron fades out*
